This warranty policy applies to all AISIN Europe aftermarket products, hereinafter referred to as products except the Automatic Transmission line up, sold by AISIN Europe Aftermarket, hereinafter referred to as AISIN.
WARRANTY COVERAGE
AISIN warrants that its products are free from defects in manufacturing, materials, and design under intended use and services.
Unless otherwise agreed, the obligation of AISIN for its aftermarket range of product under this warranty is limited to the reimbursement or replacement of products, which are deemed to have a defect within 12 months from date of shipment from AISIN.
WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1) Documentation: Warranty Request Form (attached) duly filled and supplied with high quality pictures of the claimed parts.
2) Your warranty request form must be sent to: amquality@aisin-europe.com with a copy sent to your sales representative.
3) AISIN undertake to investigate the warranty claim within three weeks (15 working days).
- If considered necessary for technical analysis, AISIN may request for shipment of the parts under investigation, hence, please keep parts available until your request is settled.
- If requested to do so, Customers must arrange the shipment of products to AISIN at their own expense; in cases where the claim liability is accepted by AISIN, AISIN will reimburse the cost carriage charges associated with the shipment to AISIN for inspection.
- The lead time for reporting with then be counted from the date of reception of the parts at the final place of investigation.
4) Upon completion of the warranty report, AISIN will retain the goods for a period of 30 days prior to disposal.
5) In cases where claims are accepted, the credit note will be applied to the customer’s account within 30 days of acceptance of
liability. The value of the credit note might contain following items:
- Part Cost (original invoiced prices)
- Shipment cost (if applicable, refer to above item 3.)
PARTS CLAIMS WILL BE REJECTED IF:
- Submission of an incomplete Documentation (point 1 from Terms and Conditions)
- The products have been altered, improperly installed, damaged by accident, negligence, misapplication, misuse, improper removal, or visible shipping damage.
- Standard aftermarket range products which have been used for motorsport purposes or out-of standard specification from car manufacturer.
- The flywheel was not replaced or resurfaced to the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Return of an incomplete kit of parts.
STATUTORY RIGHTS
Customer’s statutory rights remain unaffected.
